What to Wear

What to Wear

When you book your session, I will invite you to view a prep packet specific to the details of your needs. But, to sum it up, be yourself!  There is no limit to wardrobe changes.

  • Steer clear from clothes that have characters, large logos or text as they may be distracting and draw attention away from the person being photographed.
  • For families, simple is usually better. More often than not, solid colors & jeans work best.  You don’t all have to wear the same color, but different shades of one color are great!
  • Newborns need nothing more than their birthday suit! If you prefer not to have the naked baby shots, we can also make that work.  There are plenty of alternatives using any outfits you’d like.  If mom and dad are interested in being photographed in any fashion I do ask that you bring black shirts to wear for a portion of the newborn shoot.

Virginia Wheeler - Hi Kimberly,

I thought I would go ahead and contact you through your website and see your availability for newborn pictures. I’ve found out that I’m being induced on Feb. 12th which is pretty soon! Would you even have time in the ten days following that?
